The Admiral's House is a beautifully restored historic home in quaint downtown Beaufort. Originally built circa 1883, the house underwent a complete restoration under supervision of the NC Historic Preservation Office, which was finished in June 2014.

The house resides in the heart of the Beaufort Historic District and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There is plenty of off street parking for at least 5 vehicles in the parking lot behind the house. Just turn right on to the gravel driveway after you pass the house. Once you park your car, you may not need it anymore, as The Admiral's House is conveniently located, a short walk to anywhere in the Beaufort Historic district. It is 1 1/2 blocks to the waterfront, boardwalk and Taylor's Creek, one block to Beaufort Historic grounds and an easy walk to bars, restaurants, shops and ferry service to beaches and Cape Lookout Lighthouse.

Bed linens are provided for each room as well as 2 sets of towels and a blanket. Extra towels are in the closet. Two bedrooms on the first floor and three bedrooms on the second floor. The 'trunk room' has built in seating that could handle two extra people if needed.
